Case Studies
Gouvernement du Quebec: New York, NY

When the Quebec’s lease was due to expire, they turned to Sterling to investigate all options.

We performed the original build-out and several renovations over their lease term which served the client well.

The three design challenges: downsize the existing office, give the space a facelift, and redesign the conference/reception center.

The biggest challenge was to accomplish all this as the Quebec Government continued to conduct receptions and do government work.

Sterling's team created a fluid work schedule to build the new kitchen and provide a necessary upgrade to aging mechanical systems. The new design added offices, condensed storage areas, created a flexible pantry which could become a gourmet kitchen when required, and incorporated —with minimal impact—a cooling solution for receptions serving up to 125 people.
